Talking PERFUMES - Spring 2018

Hi!

Spring time calls for a wardrobe change, but... what about your perfumes?

I often feel persuaded to change them with the changing of the seasons! Somehow to me some are more appropriate for

winter/autumn times and others are just perfect to kick off spring or for that Aperitivo on the beach at sunset!

I think perfumes are such a unique trait that says so much about a person, your loved ones & your friends eventually associate you with a certain scent. Isn't it so nice when someone tells you " This perfume reminds me of you "?

Perfumes are such luxurious items, because of their packagings and - let's face it - for their cost as well!

Do you have an absolute favorite you swear by or do you change you perfume every now and then? Let me know in the comments section down below :)

Some of my all time favorites are included in the picture above:

- DIPTYQUE - Ombre Dans L'eau - This A-M-A-Z-I-N-G perfume was originally created in 1983, it is a very floral-fruity fragrance, a combination of the scent of roses and Blackcurrant berries. I personally consider it a unisex fragrance, it makes a great luxury gift for a special occasion. It is more on the pricey side, especially the Eau the Parfum. It retails around 75 - 98 Euros, depending on the size.

- DIPTYQUE - Eau Duelle - The Diptyque website features this particular fragrance in their "Oriental" selection. The main trait is the Bourbon vanilla bean, but it is not super sweet thanks to the mix between pink peppercorn, cypriol and calamus. It is definitely more a feminine fragrance, very luxurious & rich. Same price as Ombre Dans L'eau.

- JO MALONE - Blackberry & Bay - This is such a perfect scent for spring! I absolutely love it and never ever get tired of it!

It is so fresh & fruity because of the blackberry note, while also being intense and super long lasting. Heart Note: Bay Leaves - Cedarwood. Jo Malone usually sells only 2 different perfume sizes: the 30 ml - 53 Euros - ( which I recommend if you do not want to spend 100 Euros ) and the 100ml - 106 Euros.

- ARMANI PRIVE' - Bois D'Encens - I have smelled this scent for the first time when I entered the reception of the Armani Hotel in Milan.. in a few minutes I knew I had to ask someone the actual perfume name. So mystic, woody & captivating. This perfume is not for everyone, I guess you either love it or hate it. It has notes of Somalian incense and it want to represent a rebirth of the mystery of the oldest known perfume in the world, Kyphi, created by the Egyptians some 4,000 years ago.The back mat packaging is to die for! Again, a unisex scent. Stay away from this if you do not like strong, oriental, long lasting perfumes :)

This is an Eau the Parfum only and it retails at 215,00 Euros.
